How Liverpool FC tickets work

Most Premier League home games at Anfield are not open to the general public. Tickets go first to members of the club's All Red scheme, and demand is high. For a visitor without a membership history, getting a ticket is difficult, and it is best to plan around that.

This site is an independent guide, not the club. It does not sell tickets. Everything below describes the routes that the club itself runs, as of the 2026/27 season.

The four ways to get a ticket

Each route has its own rules, and none is guaranteed.

RouteWho it is forWhat to know
Membership and members' saleAll Red members (Full, Light, Junior)Membership alone does not guarantee a seat
BallotMembers with enough creditsPre-registration needed, 1 ticket per supporter ID
Ticket ExchangeEligible All Red membersReturned tickets, sold at face value
HospitalityAnyone, through the clubPackage price depends on the match

There is no open exchange for tourists. If you do not have a membership, hospitality is the most direct route, and the Anfield stadium tour is a good alternative.

Membership and the 2026/27 ballot

Credits decide how early you get access.

All Red membership

The current scheme is called All Red, in Full, Light and Junior categories. Your access depends on the credits you hold and on the sale process for each match.

13 or more credits

Members with 13 or more Premier League home credits get guaranteed access to tickets within the sale set aside for them.

4 to 12 credits

Members in this band can register for the ballot for the games that are available.

Fewer than 4 credits

Members with fewer than 4 credits can only buy for selected matches.

You must register in advance for the ballot. Each eligible supporter ID can buy one ticket, and one registration covers a maximum of four. For the first half of 2026/27, the "All Members" sale lists Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Brighton, Sunderland and Leeds.

Member sales and ballots take place in July and November. The November round covers matches from 1 January 2027. For 2026/27 the club uses a new NFC pass through its app and My Account, and older passes should not be treated as permanently valid.

Ticket Exchange and hospitality

Two more routes, each with limits.

Ticket Exchange

Members who cannot attend return their tickets to the club. These are then offered in additional member sales before the match, at face value, to eligible All Red members. It is not open to the general public.

Matchday hospitality

The club sells hospitality packages directly through its hospitality section. Prices depend on the match and the package, so check the current listing.

Liverpool FC ticket prices for 2026/27

For 2025/26 the club froze general admission and season ticket prices. For 2026/27 it has confirmed a 3% increase in general admission prices and a freeze for 2027/28. A larger multi-year increase that was announced first was later changed, so the earlier figures no longer apply.

Junior and Local tickets stay at ยฃ9. Local tickets are for eligible people with a Liverpool postcode and are not a general tourist rate. The age limit for the young adult discount rises from 21 to 24.

Prices differ by match and seat, and the full Premier League price list changes. Check the club's ticket price page for the match you want rather than relying on a single figure.

Resale and the law

Why you should be careful with offers from anyone else.

What the law says

Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 covers the unauthorised sale or transfer of tickets for designated football matches in England and Wales. The organiser's written permission is needed, and offers to sell and adverts are covered too.

What it does not say

It is not a ban on reselling every kind of event ticket, and buying a ticket is not automatically a crime. The rule is about football matches in the Act's scope.

The practical risk

Tickets bought from anyone other than the club may be refused at the gate, and you have little recourse if they are not valid. The club's own routes are the only ones that give you a ticket you can rely on.

Treat social media posts, messaging groups and unfamiliar websites offering tickets with suspicion. If a price looks too good or the seller asks for payment that cannot be traced, walk away.

Liverpool FC tickets: frequently asked questions

How can a visitor get tickets for a Liverpool match?

The routes are membership and the members' ballot, Ticket Exchange for eligible members, and matchday hospitality through the club. Membership does not guarantee a seat, and there is no open sale for tourists on most matches.

Does a membership guarantee me a ticket?

No. Access depends on your credit balance and on the sale process for each match. Members with 13 or more Premier League home credits are guaranteed access within the sale set aside for them.

Are Liverpool tickets getting more expensive in 2026/27?

General admission prices rise by 3% for 2026/27, with a price freeze confirmed for 2027/28. Junior and Local tickets stay at ยฃ9.

Is it illegal to resell a Liverpool match ticket?

Under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, selling or passing on tickets for designated football matches without the organiser's written permission is an offence. It is not a blanket ban on all resale of all event tickets.

Should I buy from a resale website?

No. Tickets from anyone other than the club may be refused at the gate, and the sale itself may be unlawful. Stick to the club's own routes.

What can I do if I cannot get a ticket?

Book the stadium tour and museum at Anfield. For a second Liverpool ground, look at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium and Goodison Park.
