The Anfield stadium tour at a glance
Anfield is the home ground of Liverpool FC, and the stadium tour is the main way to see inside it. The standard tour includes the club museum. You can also buy a museum-only ticket, or a matchday tour on days when the club plays at home.
This site is an independent guide. It is not run by the club, and tickets are sold by the club on its own booking system. The prices below are the ones listed for 2026.

Liverpool FC stadium tour prices
Three kinds of ticket, all with a separate price list.
| Ticket | Adult | Senior or student | Child under 16 | Family |

Anfield tour times and booking
Times depend on the date, so use the booking calendar.
Time slots
The booking calendar shows time slots by date. An autumn example lists hourly slots from 10:00 to 15:00, and other days differ. There is no single daily timetable, so choose a date and see what is offered.
Matchday restrictions
Before a home match, parts of the tour can be closed. On 28 August and 11 September 2026 the home and away changing rooms were not open on tours because of the match that followed. Similar limits can apply around other fixtures.
Book ahead
Booking online avoids the surcharge. It also means you know the slot before you travel out to the stadium.
Match tickets are separate
If you want to see a game, read our guide to Liverpool FC tickets. A tour is a good option when no match tickets are available.
Anfield tour: what to expect
The tour is a visit to a working stadium, so it follows the ground's schedule rather than a fixed script. Changing-room access, as noted above, depends on the date. The museum is part of the standard ticket and can also be bought alone.
The ground now seats 61,276, after the extension work, according to the club's access statement of March 2026. Older figures of around 54,000 are out of date.
If you are interested in both Merseyside clubs, Everton's ground is on the northern waterfront. See our Hill Dickinson Stadium guide for tours and access.

How to get to Anfield
There is no railway station beside the stadium, so you arrive by bus or taxi.
By bus on a normal day
Bus 26 runs from Liverpool ONE and bus 17 from Queen Square. Single bus fares across the region are capped at £2.
On matchdays
Bus 917 leaves from Commutation Row, near Lime Street, and takes about 15 minutes. A Soccerbus service runs from Sandhills station. Special matchday buses are not a daily tour transfer.
By train
Long-distance trains arrive at Lime Street. From there, take a bus or a taxi. Plan for the journey time on busy days.
From the airport
Bus 500 links John Lennon Airport and Liverpool ONE, roughly every 30 minutes in the daytime. Change there for the Anfield buses.
By car
Resident parking zones surround the stadium and need a valid permit. Follow the street signs and do not count on free parking in side streets.
Combine Anfield with the rest of Liverpool
Anfield is outside the centre, so pair it with a city-centre stop.
